Armament Museum Opens as 10 Year Dream Realized
The Air Force Armament Museum on State Road 85 north of Shalimar opened Friday November 15 as a Class B Air Force Museum second only to Wright Patterson. It focuses on armament history with rotating artifacts and features the F 105 Thunder chief. Open daily 9 30 a m to 4 30 p m closed Thanksgiving Christmas and New Year’s Day.
