Condos Square Off In Water Sewer Lawsuit
The Association of Southbay By The Gulf Condominium Inc. sues Shoreline Towers East Ltd in Okaloosa County Circuit Court alleging Shoreline tapped into Southbay water and sewer lines without permission or payment. The suit seeks a restraining order, damages for use and a damaged beach access road, citing a 1973 easement granting rights to install lines over Shoreline property. It says current minimal use could surge with more units, overburdening lift stations and sewer lines. Construction crews allegedly damaged a 60-foot Southbay easement and road access rights.
