Destin TV Station Wins FCC Lottery For Low Power Outlet
Summa Communications of Montgomery has been named the winner to build a 1,000 watt low power TV station on Channel 58 in Destin. The FCC will issue a construction permit soon with a one year deadline. The transmitter will be about two miles north of the city and serve a 10 to 15 mile radius.
