Centennial Salute to Clementine Hunter opens at Pensacola
The Pensacola Museum of Art hosts A Centennial Salute to Clementine Hunter: 40 Years of Painting from Jan 9 to Feb 20, organized by the New Orleans Museum of Art with support from Mobil Foundation. Admission is free and hours are Tue–Sat 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hunter, born on Cane River in North Louisiana, produced over 5,000 paintings centering on plantation life, festivals, and rural scenes.
