Avee White's life of self reliance in Walton County
Avee White recalls early life in South Walton County with turpentine work, eggs, and tomatoes. He fished for 35 years, built boats including the Omega, ran shrimping camps, and lived debt-free in a self-sufficient homestead with Grace Whoelery. They raised four children and three grandchildren at home, never needing welfare.
