Planning Commission Hears Big Agenda At Thursday Meeting
The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. at the Community Center to review multiple developments. Projects include St. Croix Gardens Townhomes on Beach Drive, Shahid Office Condominium on U S 98, Admiralty Condominium on U S 98, and rezoning requests on New 980 Eighth Street and Main Street Airport Road. Most items were moved from Aug. 15 due to a clerical error. The Destin Chamber budget for the coming year is $83,300, up over last year with cost of living raises and a reserve for a future computer system. Also reported are Sold out Destin Seafood Festival booth spaces for Oct 5-6 and a verbal commitment for insurance for the festival.
