Destin Developer Harris Pleads Guilty To Tax Evasion
Destin developer George Dana Doodle Harris pleaded guilty to failure to pay and evasion of income taxes. He faces a maximum six years in prison and must repay $1.1 million for 1972 to 1973. A pre sentence investigation was ordered with sentencing set for August 31 in Pensacola. Harris was arrested in Fort Walton Beach after a March grand jury indictment covering 1976 to 1978.

Okaloosa Budget Hearings Set for September 1983
Okaloosa County plans public hearings on its proposed 41 million dollar budget for fiscal year 1983 84 with workshops held weekly.
