Sandestin Bank Charter Approved by State Officials
Sandestin State Bank received state charter approval on August 1 as officials pursue federal compliance before building a Highway 98 facility. George Miller says construction plans will be revealed in 7 to 10 days, with no firm timetable yet. The project follows growth in Walton and South Walton, and the bank will appoint directors Harold Hodges, Richard McCall, Darel Hemphill, Larry Owens, and Miller, with president to be named.
