Vote the Whole Democratic Ticket
Next Tuesday is election day and every Caroline Mountain will have the opportunity to choose officers in public places to run their affairs for the next four years. Many of us will take advantage of that privilege, but some few will not. Those are the ones to be pitied. If they lived in many countries they would not be asked to help choose their officers. They would be chosen for them. Here it is our privilege to choose ours. Let us then do so one hundred per cent. We Democrats have a handsome registered majority, so let us all vote as we register and support our party from the Governor right on down. Several Democrats on the ticket this year have no opposition. They are as good as elected right now. But there are others who need all the help that loyal Democrats can give. We mention these candidates to remind you to vote particularly for them: Hon. Herbert R. O'Conor for governor, Hon. William C. Walsh for attorney general, Hon. David J. Ward for Congress, Messrs. William L. DeFord, Emmett Hignatt and H. Roland Towers for County Commissioners, Mr. D. Ralph Horsey for Clerk of the Court, Mr. Marc Bryant for State Senate, Messrs. Jesse T. Dennis, E. Lloyd Fooks and Luther W. Handy for Judges of the Orphans' Court, Mr. Layman J. Redden for State's Attorney, Hon. Stephen R. Collins for Chief Judge, Hon. Albert Constable and Hon. William Raymond Horney for Associate Judges. A sweeping Democratic victory means upholding the national administration in our all out war effort. Vote Democratic next Tuesday, November 3.

The forthcoming Maryland election favors Democratic candidates for Congress and Annapolis seats.
