Thanksgiving Forefathers And Farm Labor Talk Mix
The article recalls the first Thanksgiving and urges gratitude for present blessings. It reports: Bahamian workers in Caroline County leave by November 28, with 62 employed in peak season and a proposed 1948 farm labor program by the Caroline Labor Cooperative Association. It notes an upcoming Holstein heifer sale at College Park on December 20 for 4-H and FFA members, and covers Inter-State Cooperative meetings in Philadelphia, plus dairy marketing talks. It ends with hog fattening economics from Iowa State and Baltimore quotations, highlighting profitable slaughter weights and feed costs under current prices.
