Stafford's Market of Denton bought one prize steer exhibited by the 4 H and FFA clubs at Timonium, to be butchered by Esskay Meat Co. and sold the week of November 29. The steer brought 1.98 dollars per pound, totaling over 3000 dollars. Esskay Company is a principal supporter of 4 H and FFA work in the state.

Greensboro High School tenth grade biology class leads a bandage drive for the Caroline county bedside nursing program offering free home nursing visits. The drive runs November 29 to December 15 and seeks clean white cloth bandages donated to G H S or the Health Department.

Three Killed in Head-On Crash Near Preston Jonestown
State police report three people died in a late Saturday night head-on automobile crash near Preston. Two other occupants were injured, including Mrs. Mary F. Lake who, with Thomas Norman Johnson, was hospitalized in good and slightly improved condition respectively.
