Christian Persons Lesson on Beatitudes for November 18 1956
A Christian is defined by inner character and outward action as Jesus presents in the Beatitudes. True joy comes from becoming more like God, not from self-centered living, and love of neighbor guides all daily contacts. The faithful will often seem out of line with a world still distant from love, yet this is part of being a Christian.
