Plenty Of Baltimore Bin Room For Wheat
Dr. Paul J. Nystrom, chairman of the Maryland wheat storage advisory committee, says Baltimore elevators have ample space for 1955 Maryland wheat with government loan storage totaling about 2.14 million bushels plus potential 750 thousand more. Maryland’s crop is forecast at 3.784 million bushels, down 20 percent from last year, but current storage capacity remains sufficient barring a very wet harvest.
