She earned top honors at the Delmarva Chicken Festival Beauty Contest and will greet visitors, while also representing Denton in the Onancock Queen Contest and receiving $100, a weekend in Ocean City, and other prizes.

Harrington to Earn Civil Engineering Degree at Maryland
Joseph H. Harrington Jr., a Denton native and Caroline High School graduate of 1951, will receive a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering at the University of Maryland Commencement on June 4. Patriotic Memorial Day observances by the American Legion in Denton included George B Raisin Jr speech urging national unity and faith in peace.
