Marydel Wedding Weeks Bring Many Guests and Plans
In Marydel over the weekend families gathered from Albany and beyond for weddings of Richard Charles Austin and George Harvey Austin in Dover and Marydel. Guests included Mr and Mrs Clarence Phillips with four generations, Randolph Austin from Texas, and relatives from Philadelphia and New Jersey. The double ceremony united Miss Gertrude Sowada and Miss Anna Marie Churchman with the Austins, followed by a reception at Marydel Community Hall and a Navy-bound couple’s departure to Norfolk Virginia.
