Watch For Downy Mildew On Cucurbits Says Weaver
Dr L O Weaver University of Maryland Extension plant pathologist warns moist hot weather favors downy mildew on cantaloupes cucumbers and other cucurbits and advises early July fungicide use. Zineb and moneb protect against downy mildew and related leaf spots while tomato diseases require spraying for early blight and anthracnose.
