Maryland Delaware and West Virginia program details
The program in Maryland Delaware and West Virginia centered on trial programs for corn wheat and tobacco. Next year Kent County growers will be offered insurance on corn and wheat while Carroll County will receive wheat protection.

Concord Christian Comrade Class Meets for Summer Sendoff
The Concord Christian Comrade Class held its final meeting at Mrs. Margaret Baynard’s home with Mrs. Mildred Hubbard assisting. Members discussed donations for an outdoor fireplace at the Church House grounds and lumber for picnic tables. The class expressed gratitude to all contributors and announced the annual class picnic on Church House grounds.

Evening Social With Reports And Croquet Enjoyed
On Thursday evening July 15 at 8 pm members attended a sun shine committee report and other committees were appointed. For October they were invited by Mrs. Mary Laramore. After adjournment some played croquet on the lawn while others watched, then returned to the house hosted by our hostess.
