Christmas Socials and Visits Mentioned in Goldsboro Notes
Local society notes list dinners and visits among Goldsboro residents and friends across nearby towns. Highlights include Shivelys hosting in Baltimore and Jimmy Shively returning home, Quillens visiting Bridgeville, Miles Edge wounded at Fort Bragg, and a Salisbury party for the Eastern Shore Hairdressers. A community Hall games party supports the Ladies Auxiliary, with sewing circle members sharing a Christmas party featuring carols, stories, gifts, and treats.
