25 Years Ago at Concord Camp and Local Obituaries
Twenty five years ago more than four thousand attended Concord camp over Sunday as interest in the old tenting-ground remained strong. Mrs. Margaret Ellwanger, widow of Charles Ellwanger, died suddenly at her son’s home near Viola. Funeral today at 1 pm with interment in Greensboro. Robert M. Todd, 67, died on his Aberdeen farm. interment at Federalsburg last Friday. His sister is Mrs. Olivia Todd Davis of Federalsburg. The Sparklin family held a reunion at Grove with broad attendance from Atlantic states and created a fund for cemetery improvements.
