Marydel Homemakers hold Pollyanna party and club notes
Twenty two Marydel Homemakers Club members gathered at Mrs Herbert Ward’s home for a Pollyanna party with a new sister chosen. Reports from the recent Denton executive meeting and Greensboro visit were given, a Lydia Bailey book review was presented, and plans set for a bake sale on April 25 and a flower show on May 27 at the community hall. New member Mrs Wm Gray welcomed. May meeting planned at Mrs T E Heather Sr.’s home. Community visitors and local news follow, then a long health article details brucellosis in humans and animals, its rising cases, public health actions, and local coordination in Caroline County.
