Available as one dollar bottles and sold by druggists, Kalamazoo address provided.
Defiance stores announce the sale and recommendation of Zoa Phora by F. P. Weisenburger & Brother, noted druggists. The product is marketed through local pharmacy channels with trusted endorsement from the Weisenburgers.
The thirty-ninth annual state encampment of the G R will convene in Washington Ohio from June 6 to 9 with extensive preparations. Thousands of veterans and auxilliary members will attend. events include a flower parade, a GAR parade, a 200 piece fife and drum corps, a Jewell Juvenile drum corps of 82, 1000 children from a local orphan home, and a 300 voice chorus with orchestra. Also notes return of Mrs Hutchins and family from Bluffton. An obituary for Henry C Dotterer records his death May 18 near Junction. An auto party from Archbold and Toledo toured Ft Wayne in two hours.
The Division of Nursery and Orchard Inspection warns of elm leaf beetle damage in eastern states and publishes a fully illustrated bulletin on the pest. Citizens may obtain copies. residents should send samples of insects and leaves to determine causes of injury.
A National Zoological Park keeper recalls a cormorant found ill after swallowing stones. Surgeons removed two pounds of stones from the bird, including a four inch specimen. The operation caused stitches to tear, the wound reopened, and the patient died five days later. St. Nicholas.
On a northbound Southern Palm Limited, two men aboard face a deadly fork. A desperate tramp clamps the railing as a life risking midair struggle unfolds. The scene ends with a dramatic exit and a revelation of a shared peril. Helen vows support as Robert faces a looming arrest and a public accusation of fraud.

Evisna N Brewer 75 dies near St Marys after 60 years in Auglaize county. James Goodbread dies in Nevada. Charles Bartley arrested at Bellefontaine for forging uncle Joe Jenkins note for $200. Democratic convention set for May 31 at Van Wert.
DC Burninson, a 55 year old ex councilman and longtime Nickel Plate conductor, was found dead in his Fostoria yard Friday morning. Authorities suspect heart disease and he may have lain there some time. Also noted is the appointment of Dr Mito Wilson as superintendent of Athens State Hospital, succeeding EH Rorick who moved to Columbus. Dr Wilson, a Hancock county native, is a graduate of Ohio Medical College and Philadelphia Medical College.
Albion W. Tourcer, American Consul at Bordeaux, died Sunday morning. He wrote Bricks Without Straw which sparked a sensation about 25 years ago. Judge Tourgee, born in Williamsfield in 1838, was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1864, married Emma L. Kilbourne of Columbus, served in the Union army, was twice wounded, held as a Libby prisoner, and joined the North Carolina Constitutional Convention after the war. His home was in Mayville, New York.
John Miller a 54 year old bachelor from near Archbold advertised for a wife. In response he met a woman named Morris in Chicago who urged him not to marry there. He returned after giving her 200 dollars. They met again in Toledo and then went to Archbold where he drew 1000 dollars from the bank for her. She departed that night but Sheriff Stemberger confronted her and she returned 900 dollars. Miller’s reaction remains unknown.
In Cambridge in 1853 Moncure D. Conway notes Henry Wadsworth Longfellow as Harvard professor of poetry. Conway recalls Longfellow as potent in personality, modest, friendly to students, truthful, and universally beloved.
A fragment from The German of erne contrasts male and female jealousy. It depicts the jealous man as a wrathful lion who wounds and rules, while the jealous woman is a treacherous torrent that hardens the mind and tempts vanity and wit. The text notes jealousy can awaken love or reveal it, with different effects.
Mr Subbubs argues with Mrs Subbubs about gowns and attention, noting Mrs Playne’s dozen gowns and criticizing modest attire for a homely woman. They discuss richness of dress and attracting attention to the face in Liverpool.

In Augusta Maine during a session of the supreme court a tedious real estate case tested counsel patience. Fred A Appleton, famed for wit, faced a pompous opponent whose blunders irked the judge. After a grave error the other lawyer quipped about dullness, prompting Appleton to joke that the man had it in the natural way.
