Mrs Elizabeth Rath Dies at 71 in County
Mrs Elizabeth Rath aged 71 died Thursday at 10 a m at her son W P Rath's home west of the Banner school house. She is survived by five children including Mrs Mary Turck Reading Ohio and Mrs Ella Valley Boberg Ohio and Henry Rath of Hagers town and W P Rath. The funeral was Sunday at 10 a m at the residence with Rev Thomas officiating and burial in McCauley cemetery.

Death of Old Resident Henry Werner
Henry Werner, stepfather of John Schudel, died at his son’s home on Pierce street Thursday at 10 PM. Born in Germany on March 22, 1827, he had come to the United States as a young man. Funeral services were held at the residence Sunday at 3 PM and at the German Reformed church at 3:30 PM, Rev. N E Witz officiating. Interment followed in Riverside.
