A glassmaker named Silvente of Tiffin shot himself at Fostoria on Tuesday and will die. A Grand Trunk construction train wreck near Penamo, Mich kills four and injures another.

Russett L Knapp a prominent Knight Templar and secretary of De Molay commandery of Tiffin died Tuesday at age 57.
William Marraias aged 32 was found dead on an oil lease west of Findlay on Monday while repairing a gas main leak. Death was due to asphyxiation and authorities are investigating the incident.
Joseph Palmer, a well known Marysville resident, died suddenly Monday from apoplexy brought on by the excitement and shock of a severe lightning and thunder storm.
Dr Byron D. Palmer a Bryan dentist aged 50 was removed to the Toledo state hospital on Monday. He is said to believe constantly that he is conversing with the dead in a striking case of mental disorder.
A Sunday blaze in Marysville destroyed the grocery owned by Fred Stierhoff and damaged the building for thousands of dollars. Nearby BC Bennetts stock of boots and shoes suffered heavy damage as well, sharing the destruction and financial loss.
YHese Bailey who vanished for days then returned Monday committed suicide at his Norton home. He stood before a mirror with his infant nearby and ended his life by shooting himself. The report notes he appeared insane.

A Defiance township convention at UB church drew large attendance with Rev Arthur Barber elected state convention delegate and officers named Zora Hull secretary treasurer. A Tiffin River Upchurch gathering May 28 featured talks on Sunday school responsibility temperance normal classes and management with a 434 dollar collection and guidance to increase attendance and engagement.
