A church committee mourns Albert Coy with 30 days of draped flags and records his service to the family and community. Horton Travis of Adams township returned to this city from Denver Colorado on Tuesday evening. He met John Wisda and sons John G and Joe and Julius Eberle in Denver and says they are all well. Bert is at Cripple Creek. John Wisda does not yet know what to do with land recently drawn in the new territory. Mr Travis does not think he would like to farm in a land of irrigation. Ohio is good enough for him.
Defiance School presents Miss Kniffen a competent teacher with training from Ypsilanti Art school and Chicago Art Institute. The program includes oil and water color painting from Studies or Nature, Free Hand and Mechanical drawing, China Decoration, and Pastel. Consultation and enrollment now open in the Fine Arts room of the College building.
