Burr Oak News Highlights Local Camp Meetings and Visits

Bring Your Family Night at Friday service and camp notes

Friday night will be designated as Bring Your Family Night with the Junior chorus singing and a Boozy sermon by Teo Wood. An all day Sunday service is planned at 11 am 3 pm and 8 pm. Mrs Anton Oehler and relatives stay at Clarence Farley's house to attend camp meetings after a recent hospital stay.

Calmar Area News From Decorah to Os sian

August 24 195 Arthur Kramer of Dixon joined his wife here Monday. Dr C Harvey went to Dubuque on business returning today. Miss Lacey Faber nurse Cresco hospital cares for Mrs Wmn Moxham. Miss Ruth Riggs returned from Decorah hospital for treatment. Miss Mae Malloy returned from Fayette last Saturday attending summer school. Andrew Smith went to Cedar Falls to spend Sunday with mother and sister returning Monday. After a week with his father James Malloy left for Blooming Prairie Minn Saturday. Ten Kernhard resumed rural carrier duties after visiting relatives near Independence Saturday. Mrs FE W Allen and daughter Grace Crabtree came from Waterloo for Mrs E L Allen funeral. F A Stanley and Mr and Mrs Bern hard attended the RFPD picnic at Ft Atkinson last Sunday. Mrs Bessie Allen died at her parents home in a sudden death noted near the bed while baby cried.
