Miss Flora Payne died last night at 11:30 at her sister Mrs. H M Jones's home 1323 Eighth Avenue South aged 49. She leaves her mother Mrs. George Payne and sister, with many relatives. The body was taken to Priest's for burial prep and will be transported to Chattanooga this afternoon for funeral Friday at 3 by Rev R O Ralston. Interment will follow in Chattanooga.

310 Men Pass Through Decatur Friday Afternoon
A special train carrying 310 men will detrain at Moulton Street near the national forest reserve en route from Fort McClellan.
