Area Service Men In News

Two area men have enlisted in the Marine Corps delay program allowing date of active duty up to 120 days from enlisting. Bruce T. Kimbrell, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Kimbrell of Trinity, and Ronald W. Freeman, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Freeman, 1215 13th Ave., SE, Decatur, are named.

Local Air Force Recruits Include Cullman Students

West Morgan High School lettered in football and basketball. Pvt. Freeman reports to San Diego for basic training May 21. Don E. Hale of Cullman completed Lackland basic training and heads to Lowry AFB for supply training. Airman Jesse G Crumbley, Cullman, completed basic training as a missile equipment specialist after Holly Pond High School.
