Valley residents join first deer hunt in Lawrence County forest
Decatur and Moulton residents reported good news from a deer hunt held last week in the national forest of Lawrence county. On opening day Horace Sheats Homer Lawrence Candler Pittman Virgil Walden of Decatur and Thurlow Borden of Moulton attended. Borden bagged a deer. On Friday Lawrence Sheats Walden joined Thurlow and Walter Borden and Lawrence bagged a 125 pound six pointer buck.

J. J. Case Company plant employees in Stockton California voted against affiliation with the AFL International Brotherhood of Blacksmiths Drop Forgers and Helpers. Manager E C Dutcher announced the NLRB election results showing 54 opposed, 33 for the union and one abstention.

College Graduates in Demand Across Alabama
Alabama colleges expect over 1,000 graduates this month with several already hired.
