Police in Boston blamed three boys ages 3 7 and 8 for derailing the Worcester bound Bos ton and Albany train near Back Bay Station. No passengers were injured though seven suburban trains were delayed and the Southwest limited to St Louis was held briefly.
The State Department said it will turn over two letters to New York police that are believed written by Mrs Oksana Kasenkina the Russian refugee teacher who leapt from the Soviet consulate in New York. Officials said authenticity is unconfirmed and the letters will be examined by police in the probe into teachers who did not want to return to Russia. The case follows the departure of Soviet officials after Moscow ordered a consulate closure.
Moonshine stills destroyed by ABC agents in Alabama during the first half of this year could have produced 94 932 gallons of whisky valued at 7 239 888 at current prices. The report by Joseph T. Burton lists 1 064 stills put out of business and notes 19 arrests, 352 354 gallons Mash seized, 10 084 gallons Whisky seized, 132 Automobiles seized and 4 453 in stolen property recovered with fines and costs collected.

Horace Edward Strickland a 31 year old Tallahassee firefighter was burned to death when his home caught fire early today. His wife and two children were away for the night. Investigators have not determined the cause of the blaze.

John Allen Jr. a 19 year old Negro convict who escaped from a Decatur camp road gang was captured in Cordova by police Wednesday night. Authorities also seek LeRoy Baskin 25 Negro who fled a state truck from the Decatur camp last week. An escaped white convict James Miller 43 from a camp near Calera and Jenison is jailed in Huntsville.
