NFO Urges 115 Percent Sell-Back Price for Surplus Dairy
National Farmers Organization President DeVon Woodland urged raising the government sell-back price for surplus dairy to 115 percent of original cost, arguing 105 percent invites storage and reduces dairy price support efficiency. He testified before the Senate Agriculture Committee and outlined additional measures to curb production and stabilize prices, including grain price adjustments and reconsideration of parity rules.
