Cranberry growers approve marketing order for 1984
Wisconsin cranberry growers ratified a marketing order to fund promotion and research with a 5 cent per barrel assessment beginning Sept 1 1983. The referendum from May 13 27 drew 83 votes in favor 12 against with 99 ballots returned and 2 invalid. Eight state slate board members were elected. The national committee plans budgeted 92 805 for 1982 83 to cover mapping aerials and other acreage work.
