Wisconsin Dairy Milk Marketing Board picks 25 delegates
State Agriculture Department counted over 18 000 ballots to form Wisconsin's first Milk Marketing Board. Delegates from 25 districts were named to oversee an estimated 11 million dollar milk checkoff program with terms ranging one to three years. Voting turnout was about 40 percent among 45 435 eligible dairy farmers.

National Weather Service forecasters in the Twin Cities expect cloudy conditions Thursday and partly cloudy Friday and Saturday with the best chance for showers or thunderstorms on Friday. Assessment on again dairy assessment resumes after court stay
