Wisconsin Dairy Milk Marketing Board picks 25 delegates
State Agriculture Department counted over 18 000 ballots to form Wisconsin's first Milk Marketing Board. Delegates from 25 districts were named to oversee an estimated 11 million dollar milk checkoff program with terms ranging one to three years. Voting turnout was about 40 percent among 45 435 eligible dairy farmers.

Assessment on again dairy assessment resumes after court stay
