Wisconsin expert eyes milk surplus keeping prices below support
Dr. Bob Cropp of UW Platteville says milk production and demand will keep prices for manufacturing milk under 12.80 per hundred through March. He notes large Commodity Credit Corp purchases will be needed to absorb surplus, with CCC stocks rising under the 105 percent sellback policy and prices likely to slip after early next year.
