Milk refund deadline nears for second 50 cent assessment
Dairy farmers have until December 31 to apply for a refund of the second 50 cent assessment. To qualify producers must cut milk production in September by 8.4 percent from their September 1981 through September 1982 average. Applications to local county ASCS offices with receipts from Sept 1981 1982 1983. The October and November refund period uses averages from Oct 1980 1981 and Nov 1980 1981.
