Ausman balks at signing waste rules pact with DNR

Tragedy Strikes Sauder Family as Christmas Fire Kills Five
A Christmas Eve blaze at the Sauder farm in rural Withee claimed the lives of Wilma six months Loren 23 months Ellen five Ammon Jr six and Leon ten, while four other children Linda twelve Lois eleven Marlene eight and Glenn seven escaped. Neighbors and state residents donated over 82000 to the State Bank of Withee to aid the grieving Mennonite family, with food clothing furniture and other items pouring in. A trailer home was placed on the farm as rebuilding begins with Meadowbrook's approximately 40 Mennonite families and Pennsylvania relatives assisting.
