Trempealeau Electric Co op cuts rates with three options
Trempealeau Electric Cooperative offers three lower rate plans to members. A plenum heater retrofit with non peak use can cut cost to 2.8 cents per kWh, plus $2.50 monthly meter and control fees. Heat storage systems qualify for 2.3 cents per kWh with a $2.50 monthly meter. A time-of-use plan rewards off peak usage by about 40 percent savings, while peak hours incur higher rates. The coop serves about 6,100 members on 1,528 miles of line across four counties.
