Century Farm owner keeps nearly a century on Clark County land

Bernard Dodte, a 94-year-old Clark County native, represents a rare few who have almost spent a full century on their Century Farm. The Dodge/Dodte family began in 1883, transitioning from scrub land to registered Holsteins, helping shape Clark County dairy history through early Holstein records, associations, and the county fair. His son Tom continues the operation with two registered Holsteins, preserving lineage and involvement in regional dairy groups.
