The Eureka Milling Company is organized and incorporated by Sam Elsby of New Albany Edgar L. Miles of Corydon and Sylvester Thompson of New Amsterdam. Miles is President and Manager Thompson is Vice President and Elsby is Secretary Treasurer. They purchased the White Mill at this place and have begun business buying wheat and selling feed and plan to grind soon. Hugh Frederick of Corydon serves as book keeper and oversees business. We wish the new owners success.

The Rev A M Davidson pastor of Van Alst Avenue Methodist Episcopal church New York City arrived August 4 at his parents home in New Salisbury Indiana to visit until August 5. He trained at DePauw University and Boston Theological Seminary earning BA and Bachelor of Sacred Theology, later moving to East churches and finally Van Alst in 1923. His wife and daughter Erma joined at Forrestville Connecticut. Brothers and sisters in Indiana and Illinois joined him for the visit.

Mrs Ida Murdock Dies After Accident at 60
Mrs Ida Murdock, 60, died Sunday morning at New Albany after a Tuesday accident left her paralyzed for five years. She fractured her hip in a fall at her helpless condition and died at St. Edward's Hospital. Survived by husband Thomas Murdock, she was born in Corydon, daughter of the late Gideon Heth. The family had long resided in New Albany where they ran a boarding house. Her remains were brought to Corydon for funeral services at the Christian church conducted by Rev. F J Carr, with burial in Cedar Hill cemetery.
