Notable figures and events blur in Washington and Vegas
Retired generals gather at the Army Navy Club as the Armed Forces Journal's December issue appears with publisher Luanne Levins. In Las Vegas Charo becomes a U. S. citizen after a ceremony for 43 new Americans and a court age adjustment reduces her age to 26, while her divorce filing follows. Dana Powell commentary and a Thanksgiving turkey moment with Vice President Mondale cap the cross-section of public life.
