Erie School Heads Unhappy With Raise
Erie School District approved $500 annual raises for 40 principals assistant principals and directors and raised administrators salaries to between 22 150 and 24 700. Superintendent Paykos and Hilinski gained 1200 each bringing Paykos to 25 200 and Hilinski to 31 200. Despite the increases many administrators complain the raise is too small after no raise for three years and delays. 30 middle level posts plus psychologists and secretaries also received increments, with salaries largely in line with peers statewide.
