Acton Agricultural Show Bright with Community Effort
At Acton Town Hall grounds on Sept 29 and 30 the 1922 agricultural show drew crowds, with President G. A. Richardson and a large committee overseeing safety and comfort. The Chelmsford and Fitchburg bands performed, a 400-strong dinner crowd gathered, and extensive juvenile and home economics exhibits showcased winners in canning, sewing, baking, vegetables, and crafts led by judges including Eleanor Hall and Pearl Russell.
