A Friday puppet performance by Herbert Hester at the Toy Cupboard Theatre in South Lancaster raises funds for the girls drill team. Miss Eleanor Colburn, music supervisor, sponsors the event with a small admission fee.
In a Maynard ceremony at St. Bridget's Church Miss Margaret Mary Greene daughter of Mr and Mrs Dominick Greene and Dominic Sorrenti son of Anthony Sorrenti of Concord wed in a 3 PM double ring ceremony. The bride wore slipper satin with mantilla veil and carried calla lilies. After a reception at the K of C hall the couple plans to reside at 2 Bedford Street Concord following a wedding trip to Washington DC and New York.
Last Thursday evening at the Knights of Columbus hall the first and second degrees were worked with candidates from Maynard and Acton. Mrs. Gilmore Mason oversaw refreshments. Tonight the Ladies' Third Degree Team meets at K of C hall for a business meeting and supper. Next Thursday, April 24, third and fourth degrees will be worked. Mrs. Leslie W. Sims leads the third degree. Francany Alving is Master of the Grange. Mrs. William Robinson serves as acting master. Inspecting deputy Clifton Wheeler of Berlin will preside. The remainder of the evening features space entertainment by Mrs. Anthony Dorar. Pomona Grange meets tonight at the usual hall.

Mrs Esabelle J Kelson aged 56 died suddenly last Friday at her Arlington Massachusetts home. She was wife of George Kelson and mother of five sons W George Ronald Richard M Arlington Wil bert E Somerville Stanley L Miami and four daughters Anne Duclos Maynard Edna Mildred Arlington Hazel Field Somerville. Survived by two sisters Maud Woodworth Maynard Edna Prain Lexington and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday in Arlington with burial at Glenwood cemetery Maynard.
