Alarms Big Success at Firemen Relief Benefit

The event drew about 79 alarms for grass at the Building and a large crowd attended. Leon and his committee ran the program with a local orchestra providing music. Proceeds supported the Firemen's Relief fund.

Garden Club Reports Bulbs and Fireplaces Talk

Maynard Garden club met Monday afternoon at Miss Marion Townsend’s Lincoln Street home with Mrs. Howard Wilson presiding. Members shared bulb notes, Mrs. Mary Coughlin led the program, and a paper on fireplace construction by Mrs. Frank May was read. Mrs. Howard Case reviewed The Egg and I. The next meeting will be at Mrs. Harold Nicola’s Fletcher Corner on May 5.

DAR Chapter Entertained By Two Real Indians

Concord chapter of the DAR held a regular meeting at the Chapter House on Lexing ton road last Saturday afternoon.
