The Sidney Chapter of Future Farmers of America met on September 16 to elect officers. Dene Cox was named President, Billy LaRoque Vice President, Bill Hoxthinston Secretary, Warren Yancey Reporter, Emitt Scott Parliamentarian, Nolan Warren Farm Watch Dog, William Rollins Historian, Gaylon Cagle Poul Leader, J B Cooper Adr. Seventeen Greenhands were announced for initiation soon: Robert Allen through Bill Ripley. The chapter has fifty four members.
