Reminiscences of Travel and Texas in 1882
Reminiscences recount a family journey from Kansas to Comanche Texas in 1882 with multiple train changes and wood burning locomotives. The narrative recalls rough conditions at Comanche College playground, a rock strewn yard, and a flood caused by a hill cloud burst that flooded Indian Creek near the court house area.
