Changes in 1941 cotton loan program operation announced

A. K. Boyd announces county level changes for the 1941 cotton loan program. Clerks and witnesses will be designated from warehouses banks and production credit associations to assist farmers, with State and CCC approvals. Fee scales for loan paper execution are outlined, plus notes on rubber consumption, bee apiary exhibits, and various natural history and historical mentions.

First Methodist Church Looks to Fall Annual Conference

The church plans a strong fall start as members return to organize for the year's work. Miss Marguerite Ross resumes Junior Choir leadership. Epworth Leagues meet at 7:00 p.m. Sundays to plan the year. Sunday School at 9:45, worship at 10:50 and 8:00, midweek prayer at 8:00 Wednesday.

Comanche County Teachers Earn DBC Degrees

Dale Kay received a Bachelor of Science from Daniel Baker College Brownwood with a history and education major and social science minor and will teach at De Leon. Virginia Lacy earned a B S from Daniel Baker College Brownwood with education major and English minor and will teach at Sipe Springs. The 71 member graduating class.

The Priddy Schools will open Monday, September 15, for the 1941 42 term.
