Dwight Brightman and Captain Jack M. Brightman spoke at the Grammar School PTA Fathers Night on October 20. Captain Brightman, back from three years at Clark Field in the Philippines, now at Connally Air Base in Waco, displayed colored aides from Korea Hong Kong and the Philippines. Mrs. John Beaty's sixth grade room won the attendance award. refreshments were served in the lunchroom after the meeting.

The Comanche 4-H Chapter met October 13 under Mr Ray Hastings leadership. Officers elected were Ronald Fisher president Joe Causey vice president David Lancaster secretary treasurer and Wayland Evans reporter. They discussed the January Junior Livestock Show and plans for livestock projects from truck crops to goats.
Mr. and Mrs. 8S. F. Kinnard hosted guests Sunday. The gathering included Mr. and Mrs. Mack Loggins with Judy and Billy Mac, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Bassett and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Howard and family of Downing.
Good attendance at church Sunday with several visitors from De Leon. Families from Wichita Falls Fort Worth Lubbock De Leon Dublin and nearby areas joined local residents for visits and greetings.
