The Comanche Rebecca Lodge hosted a Thursday October 29 gathering at the I. O. O. F. Hall honoring twelve Past Noble Grands and inviting all I. O. O. F. members and wives. A loving cup was presented to W. D. Carroll by the Rebeccas and Encampment with his title engraved. About 125 attendees enjoyed readings, folk dancing, music, and a chicken course with ice cream. Dr. J. H. Lewis was elected to attend the Grand Encampment in Amarillo, joining W. D. Carroll, H. C. Rambo, J. E. Bonser, and Tobe Greer on the trip.
