The Comanche JV improved to 2-2 with a 28 to 0 victory over Cisco on Thursday night. Andy Acevedo scored twice and added a third TD, Wade Pyburn rushed for 130 yards and kicked extra points. Coach Jerome Hall praised the defense and blocking as the Indians prepare to host Kickoff at 7:00 this Thursday.

PP&K Local Competition Slated For October 8
PP and K competition announced by Clemons Motor Co coordinator David Robinson will be held at 10 00 a m on Saturday October 8 1977 at the new high school football field for ages 8 13 with parent permission. Registration runs through Friday October 7 1977. Coaches West and staff will officiate with trophies for three winners per age group and first place advancing to Zone in San Angelo on October 15 1977.

Ladies Golf Association Plays Low Gross Tournament
Nineteen members of the Ladies Golf Association competed in a Low Gross event on September 27. Beth Hallmark won the Championship Flight with 87. Breckenridge defeated Clyde 30-7 as Breckenridge's Blasts Clyde Breckenridge exploded for 22 points in the fourth quarter. Clyde led 7-0 at the half and 8-7 in the third before Breckenridge pulled away. Hamilton beat the Mavericks 24-0 in Eastland, Bruce Gillmore scoring twice for the Bulldogs. Coleman was idle.
