Coastal Bermuda This Fall
Fall fertilization of coastal bermuda grass benefits grazing by extending growth before frost. Apply phosphorus and potash in the fall to boost frost resistance, with nitrogen in spring for quick growth. Use soil testing to tailor nutrients and save by applying only what’s needed. Upper Leon Soil and Water Conservation District cooperators graze coastal through November with good fertilizer and management.
